Animal and Dairy Science BSA

Overview

The Animal and Dairy Science curriculum is designed to provide technical and applied instruction in the biological, physical, and economic aspects of animal production. It includes the selection, breeding, nutrition, reproduction, growth, and management of livestock and companion animals. Course selection can be tailored to a desired species of animals or students may choose to take classes that cover a broad selection of animal species. This major involves a combination of both science and business-based classes and is recommended for persons who wish to work in the animal production industries or in corporate jobs that support animal industries.
